- Maintain current knowledge of electrical construction methods, labor productivity, material pricing, applicable codes and standards, and regional installation practices
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical estimating, electrical contracting, construction pre-bid activity or a comparable role
- Experience interpreting electrical drawings, specifications and contract documents and to prepare detailed labor, material and equipment estimates
- Knowledge of electrical systems, materials, construction methods and applicable electrical and safety codes, including the NEC and relevant local requirements for the role’s location
- Knowledge of pre-sales and bid processes, including scope development, risk identification, value engineering and proposal preparation
