- Accredited four (4) year degree in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, business or a related discipline, plus at least (6) years of relevant experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed
- Demonstrated knowledge of conveyor systems used in mining and minerals processing, including the interaction between process requirements, equipment selection, layouts, quantities and cost
- Working knowledge of belt conveyor systems and major components, including drives, pulleys, idlers, belting, take-ups, transfer points, chutes, feeders, structures, guarding…
- Working knowledge of direct and indirect costs, freight and logistics, taxes and duties, escalation, contingency, currency exposure, bonds, insurance and commercial risk allowances
